PBS learning media, etools for language teachers, Using Art21 Media in the Classroom, 30 online multimedia resources and 50 resources for iPad used in classroom.
I loved these ones because first of all it has a variety of what I would be expecting to be using when I go back home to teach. For the PBS learning media it had standards for teaching in any subject and for elementary grade level. I found it interesting because has the standard already and when teachers will use it they do not have to type in all the information as long as they have their grade level and for what subject, the information will appear automatically on the sites. For the etool for language teachers they used student blog, twister and facebook to use to assist students in their learning. As for a teacher it is useful because most of these tools have been used often in the world of technology and it can be easy to use and learn proper language for second language speaking students. The second language students can better learn how to write proper essay or grammar usage when using the tools. The third website was the use of Film for artwork and online resources. I found this article interesting because most of the time I always thought of art as using own your imagination, pencil and paint but for this they used film as another way to portray art work with the help of film and online resource. I believe that most images of art work today are being computerized which makes work easy but it does not really show the hand work art of the artist. As for the 30 online multimedia resources it show the different sites that teachers could use to education students in the classroom. I remember using one of the sites the Khan's Academy site in my EIL class. For this Khans site it is basically about how Mr Khan does math problems online and teach it as well. This teachings is possible because of technology. So if any student was having problem with math, they can just enter the problem and have Khan explain it to them online. It is amazing what technology has done to the education world. And for the last one it was 50 resources for iPad used in classroom. I have not used one iPad yet but with what I have read and learnt from this site will be of great worth to teaching in the future. The advantage of it is that it has alot of different kinds of apps that help in different kinds of problem fields.
From all the sites and articles that I have read I really like the 30 online multimedia resources and the PBS learning media. Both of these sites is an advantage for me as I will go back home to teach. Even though we may not have the same standard but how it is set up to help assist the teacher so much better. The resources that are available online for students to use and get educated as well.
